Shipping policy

Production Time

Most pieces from Lathe Nights Woodworking is made to order. Some items are in stock and will ship within 24 hours of when your order is placed. Production time varies by project complexity and our current queue. We will give you an estimated completion window when your order is confirmed. Custom and commissioned work follows the timeline agreed upon in your commission quote — your requested delivery date is not confirmed until we agree to it in writing.

Shipping Rates

Shipping rates are calculated by the carrier at checkout based on the weight and dimensions of your order and your delivery address. The rate you see at checkout reflects the actual carrier quote for your shipment — we do not add handling markups. For custom or oversized commissions that cannot be accurately rated at checkout, shipping will be quoted separately before you commit to the order. Custom and Oversized Orders

Large or unusually shaped pieces — such as furniture, multi-part sets, or items requiring custom crating — cannot be shipped via standard parcel carriers. For these commissions, we will source freight or specialty shipping quotes and present them to you before production begins. No additional shipping charges will be applied without your approval.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your carrier tracking number. You can use that number directly on the carrier's website to follow your shipment. If you have not received a tracking notification within 24 hours of your estimated ship date, please reach out through our Contact / Commission Custom Work page.
