The Contour Series

The Beginning

In Spring 2023, when I first began this woodworking journey, I met a gentleman at the Camp Arifjan, Kuwait Woodshop who made some woodworking items eerily similar to this Contour Series. Intrigued beyond belief, I asked, "how on Earth did you make those look like that here?!" as he was finishing a set of coasters. Diligently and patiently, he showed me some details of the process. For this, I am eternally grateful. Today, nearly 3 years later, that style has taken on its own form under the Lathe Nights Woodworking umbrella.
